Concurrent Enrollment or F-2
Concurrent Enrollment: Students on an F-1 visa with a valid I-20 may apply to enroll part-time at SBCC while attending another institution.
F-2 Enrollment: F-2 Visa holders may apply to attend classes and may enroll in up to 11.5 units per semester. Follow the instructions below.
INSTRUCTIONS: Submit a complete application at least two weeks before the semester/term begins. Late applications will be processed, but we cannot guarantee it will be processed by the registration deadline. You must be in legal F-1 or F-2 status.
1. A completed General SBCC Application
2. A copy of your current I-20 form. *
3. A copy of your F-1 visa, passport, and I-94.*
4. A copy of your unofficial transcript and/or proof of current registration status. (F-2's must submit a copy of the F-1 visa holder's transcript or proof of current registration)
*F-2 visa holders must also submit copies of the F-1 visa holder's I-20, passport, visa, and I-94.

LOGIN TO YOUR SBCC ACCOUNT: Log in to your SBCC account to find your username and create your password.
COMPLETE ONLINE ORIENTATION: Log into the orientation here.
REGISTER FOR YOUR CLASSES: First, find your registration appointment date. Login to my.sbcc.edu, click on "Class Schedule & Registration", then "Registration", then "Check Your Pre-Registration Requirements and Registration Appointment". You can register on or after your appointment date/time. How to Register
PREREQUISITE INFORMATION:
- If you want to register for a class that has a math or English prerequisite, send us a copy of your college or high school transcript with your math or English courses.
- If you need a prerequisite clearance for any other subject, you can apply for clearance if you have passed the equivalent prerequisite at another school. Use "Prerequisite Clearance Form A" or "Prerequisite Clearance Form B" at this link: Prerequisite Clearance Form Instructions - Form A requires an official transcript, and Form B allows an unofficial transcript (or photocopy). Requests are generally processed within ten (10) business days of receipt of your completed form and all required documentation.
PAY FOR YOUR CLASSES: The payment deadline is within 7 days of the date you register for a class. Submit your payment in the campus portal with your credit or debit card.
