The Writing Center
Welcome! We offer free writing support services to all SBCC students registered in any credit or non-credit
class.

Our goal: To empower students to become more confident, self-directed, and informed writers
so they can achieve greater academic and professional success.
We offer: One-on-one tutoring, workshops, and a variety of helpful support materials.
To access any of our online resources: Please make sure you are signed into your Pipeline account.
Fall semester 2024 tutoring will begin on Tuesday, September 3, and continue through
Wednesday, December 11. Hours: Mon-Thurs, 10 am to 7 pm (5-7 pm online only) & Fridays
10 am to 2 pm.
Helpful Tip! We strongly recommend you meet with a tutor at least 1 week before your writing assignment
is due.
For end-of-semester deadlines, we encourage you to come in as early as possible.

1) Sign-in to Pipeline
2) Select the + sign (next to Upcoming Appointments)
3) Select Writing Center In-person or Online
4) Select "I consent" to tutoring
5) Choose the current semester, your class, & your preferred time and date!
